Another Stupid Isekai

Chapter 643

Compared to the previous night, on this one, I didn\'t sleep at all. I was pissed off on Bashan, and just couldn\'t close an eye, agonizing about what kind of pointless shit is he going to drag me in. When the morning finally came, I rolled out of the bed and went to get I shower. Then ate some terrible serial for a breakfast.

I don\'t know what that thing was made of, but my bet would be cardboard. Or some scobs. With the strange fake milk, I found in my fridge. I had better stuff there, but to actually make something tasty I would need to cook, which was something I didn\'t want to do. It was too bothersome, considering the fact that I was soon to go to a party, where I felt like expecting to get something to eat was quite reasonable thought to have.

I had no idea at that hour I should expect Bashan since he promised to pick me up, but my guess was something around afternoon. My suit was ready. Not in the best condition as I just threw it on the couch in the living room when I returned from shopping on the previous day, but I didn\'t really care. I was more or less ready to, so only waiting was left.

I tried to figure out how the hell uses the gaming consoles, but I failed. Then I tried to watch some TV, but there was nothing interesting, except a fragment of Vazasse speech from yesterday I stumbled upon. Sadly it was like two full sentences, so I didn\'t even get the AI to translate it for me.

For I moment I thought about getting the artificial intelligence to rewind it for me, and translate it, but then I thought:

"Why should I give a shit? I\'m not getting involved with whatever they are trying to do. I have my own shit to take care of."

And with that, I turned it all off, and for the rest of the time, before Bashan\'s arrival, I spent being bored out of my mind. He arrived quite close to the afternoon but didn\'t go to my apartment himself, instead he sent one of the Atri.

- You have a visitor - announced the AI.

- Let them in - I just said and picked myself from the flor.

What I was doing on the floor? Rolling around out of boredom. Don\'t judge me.

The alien women entered wearing slightly different, light blue robes, with some discreet golden jewelry. She actually looked pretty nice. One could even say gorgeous if they found her alien physique attractive. I didn\'t.

She bowed slightly as soon as she saw me, and just said:

- The ship is waiting for you - she said in English.

- Yeah... Be right there - I said, and went straight for the suit.

She didn\'t move an inch, observing my every move as I grabbed the clothes, and after a short glance at her, just stripped down to the underwear to put on the fancy stuff. Se was neither interested nor embarrassed, but still kept watching this poor excuse of a striptease show.

As I had everything on, she looked a bit more curiously.

- Are you ready? - she asked.

I peaked at my reflection on the TV screen. It was quite dark, and I couldn\'t see the details very well, but it was quite obvious that I really needed some barber and hairdresser, but except that, I looked quite neat.

- Moment - I said, and went to grab my translating device.

I put it on, and quickly returned to her.

- Yeah, I\'m ready.

This caused her to turn around and head straight for the door. I followed.

As we got all the way down, and outside of the building I saw a pretty big ship parked on the side of the road, not really giving a shit about blocking a portion of it. The back of it was open, and one could walk in the platform reaching all the way to the ground.

There was a short boarding space, ending up with sliding doors. We passed through them, as they opened before us as soon as we got there, revealing a nice and cozy space with few tables and comfortable floating chairs.

On one of them was Druoag reading a proper paper book. Although the alphabet was alien to me, it looked like some replica of a text from Earth just in a language he could understand. Maybe I was wrong, but that was my first thought, which, considering how interested he was in human culture, could easily be true.

He was wearing his white puffy pants, covering the thighs, a silver, delicate shirt with a black vest, and a turban on his head.

Bashan had even more extravagant clothes. Jade shirt, silver vest, with a white turban on his head. His boots were green and had upturned toes. He was sitting next to the giant alien and looking straight at the entrance, where I showed up.

The two of them were on the left side, while the two Atri were on the right. The one which came to get me immediately joined her sisters.

- Good to see you, Peter - said Bashan.

- Oh, cut the crap - I replied.

This caused Druoag to look over his book at me, with a curious glance.

- We had a short argument yesterday - explained the old man. - Nothing to worry about. Peter is just a bit impatient, but that\'s something all young people have, despite their race. I\'m a bit number to the flow of time, because I\'m old, and that caused our little misunderstanding. I\'m sure during the party we will have enough time to resolve the issue.

He finished with a warm smile, which caused the massive former champion to return to his text. It had to be quite interesting since he usually would say \'hi\' in some shape or form to me.

- Please join us - added Bashan, and pointed at one of the drifting chairs.

I sighed but jumped on it. Shortly after the ship departed.
